‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign being run under the aegis of ‘Azadi ke Amrit’ festival to encourage people to hoist the tricolor flag at their homes to mark the 76th year of India’s independence. Our relationship with the flag has always been more formal and institutional than personal. Bringing the flag home collectively as a nation during the 76th year of Independence is not only a symbol of our personal connection with the Tricolor but also reflects our commitment to nation building. This initiative has been taken to inculcate the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to increase the awareness about the National Flag of India.
